Merck's Animal Health division has its research &  development centre at Boxmeer in the Netherlands.  Many of the products are biological in origin.  The research, and co-located manufacturing, activities are supported by a unit that prepares media solutions and sterilises items centrally.  The unit has some operational and regulatory issues and STC worked with MSD to plan the refubishment of the unit on a phased basis.
